Great Grip Anti-slip is an active anti-slip system designed specifically for slippery Tile and Stone surfaces.
The non-etching formula bonds to the surface and reacts instantly to water and moisture. |

Treated surface wet |
|
All stone surfaces have fine pores Water pools in these keeping the surface wet and slippery |
|
When the surface is treated, the Anti-slip bonds into the pores of the stone surface. |
|
The Anti-slip reacts instantly to moisture rising above the surface to greatly increase the surface slip resistance. |
|
Great Grip Anti-slip is a non etching, transparent system, that is extremely effective on the following surfaces
Tiles glazed/unglazed Marble and Granite
Concrete Quarry tiles
Terrazzo Porcelain |
|
ADVANTAGES
Works Instantly Environmentally friendly
Inhibits the growth of bacteria Rejuvenates old stained floors
Easy to maintain Won’t damage the surface
Increases friction co-efficient more than any other chemical treatment |

Northland Orthopaedic Centre
The Northland Orthopaedic Centre was set up by a group of doctors, to offer their specialized services from one central location. The modern building is a feature on Kensington Ave, Whangarei.
The architectural design and specification included coloured textured tiles. Although the tiles gave good dry friction they were quite different when wet. The glazed surface became very slippery, and the texture allowed water to pool.
The tiles were a hazard and clients were slipping over. Something had to be done.
The application of Great Grip Anti-slip was a better solution than lifting and replacing the current tiles.
“ Its really good we’ve had no slips since the anti-slip was applied. You can’t even see its there.”

SURFACE TESTING
We offer pedestrian co-efficient of friction readings with our A.S.M 825 digital slip meter. We give before and after static co-efficient of fiction reading on our treated surfaces. This service can also be used for building code compliance. The Building Standards D1/AS1 specify a wet surface co-efficient of 0.4 or greater on all pedestrian surfaces. Reports of slippery public pedestrian surfaces should be made to your local council. |

We’ve all seen these cobble stones, most towns and cities have them. A good stone that can be easily up lifted for service and replaced when finished.
As with most textured surfaces heavy foot traffic will wear the surface down, and with constant road dirt, a slurry is created when wet.
Over 300 sq mtrs of our anti slip has been applied to strategic corners and undulating surfaces. Slips in these areas have been eliminated. C.O.F before an average of 0.3, after treating an average of 0.5 when wet.
The anti slip process also removed a lot of old stains and rejuvenated the cobble stones
